Southeastern Harp Weekend

Enter a new world --

the Southeastern Harp Weekend --

at a wooded retreat center, in Asheville North Carolina.

One hundred of acres of trees, big stone fireplaces in rustic buildings; it feels almost like the setting for the movie "Dirty Dancing."   Reasonable lodging and very reasonable (and good) food make this weekend like a big harpers' sleepover!

You'll have harp tasting, one of the largest shopping opportunities in the country, and world-class presenters, workshops and concerts.  And tuition is only $198.

This harp festival attracts participants from 33 states and five countries, so you also have great camaraderie.  Thursday, Friday and Monday are optional fantastic add-ons to the weekend.

Welcome to an experience of friendly, warm folks, special discovery, love, and deep learning, the Southeastern Harp Weekend.

“This is the very best harp conference I have ever attended. Lutheridge is a beautiful, quiet location. Make a vacation out of it. Tack on a few days in Asheville for great food and art.”  -- Julie Garrigan

“The SEHW is an unparalleled opportunity to learn a great deal from talented, experienced harp professionals, with beautiful surroundings and of course, many fantastic fellow harpers to get to know!”  -- Hannah Roberts Brockow, Montreal, Canada.

“This is a weekend full of so many different kinds of presenters geared to every level. Some friends who are incredible pedal harpists come every year and get as much from it as those of us who play lever harp.”

-- Jean Moxley

“It is one of the best harp events that I have attended.”

“It's the best place to go if you're in the market for a new harp, need classes, or want to see concerts in the Southeast! I love it! I'm sooo glad I attended this year for the first time, and will most definitely be back! It gives me something to look forward to in the fall!”

“It is the opportunity of a lifetime to be taught by the best of the best! Every year the class choices address a variety of topics. There's instruction for every level of proficiency.” --Missy Saffelder

“It's a wonderful place to overcome shyness and gain encouragement as a new harp player, and also have fun and learn so much. As my first-ever harp conference, it was perfect.”

“A ‘must have’ experience for all harpists! The event is well organized with great workshops and vendors. The concerts are awesome whether or not you are a harpist. Lutheridge is perfect for this – large enough to accommodate but small enough to be intimate with fellow attendees.” -- Mary Umbarger

“By far the best harp workshops I have ever been too!  I plan to go every year!”
