Eve and Brittany (G-G lap harps) “Simplicity” lever configuration.  This is my favorite configuration for keeping it as simple, light, and inexpensive as possible while opening up the potential to use the lowest range of the harp on the G-G stringing. 

“Simplicity” is levers on F’s and the Lady Godiva G. 

It allows you to play in:

Ena is firmer string tension than Eve which is light tension.

Brea and ENA “Slim” is Truitt levers on the F’s and ALSO B’s, with the one Lady Godiva lever added. That is the G above middle C on the right.

This is my favorite lever configuration for G-G strung double lap harps if you almost feel the need for full levers but are not sure.  “Ten Joys” opens up all sorts of possibilities (10 and more) and saves you $624 off the price of a fully levered harp.

This consists of levers on all F’s, all C’s, and all G’s.  With this you can play in the configurations that use the best range of the harp (that is, utilizing lots of the lowest strings).

Lady Godiva lever.

I recommend if your harp is not levered that you add a single lever I call the “Lady Godiva.”

It allows you to play Old English music and also Shakespearean and Jewish. 

This extra lever is on the right course of strings.  It is the single G string above middle C.

I give you lots of sheet music that uses this lever.

Optional legs that make your lap harp feel like a floor harp that can tilt back ergonomically.

I love Gary’s new beautiful base with legs for Brittany and Eve harps.  These harps are comfortable as far as lap harps go, and these legs take them a step further to feel as ergonomic as a floor harp. 

The base (legs) detach in less than a minute and take one minute to attach.  Lightweight but extremely sturdy and easy to pop into a car and then pack other items between the legs.

Come in two heights; ask me how to determine which is perfect for you.

The green bag that comes with the harp is protective like any soft harp case, but the drawback is that you can’t safely use the shoulder strap, only the handles.  (Most people don’t mind that, but it’s possible some folks need a shoulder strap that works).

The Super Cordura bag comes in seven colors:  royal purple, navy, black, silver, burgundy, dark gray, and deep green.  For Lorraine:  $243 if you get it at the same time as harp.  $325 otherwise. 

For Eve or Brittany:  I find the bag that is included with the lap harps (Brittany and Eve) is fine since those harps are so light.  But for those that want the pretty Super Cordura bag in any color, it’s $170 if you purchase it when you buy the harp.  Otherwise $225 if you get it later.
