Carolyn is the world’s foremost resource person on double strung harp today.  She has published over 300 videos with innovative techniques that make double strung playing amazingly accessible for EVERYONE - beginners to professionals.  With these breakthroughs she has given double-strung joy to people worldwide. 

 

In her first decade as a double strung distributor for Stoney End Harps, Carolyn sold over 350 double strung harps in the U.S. and 20 countries.  She has owned and played every Stoney End double strung harp model and still plays exclusively Stoney End doubles.  With her detailed knowledge from a player’s vantage point, she compassionately helps each of her customers find the perfect model.

Before discovering double strung,  Carolyn founded the Southeastern Harp Weekend conference in 2001 and directed it for 14 years. Through that, she gleaned immeasurable treasures from wonderful harp pioneers like Tina Tourin, Kim Robertson, Sunita Staneslow, Rhett Barnwell, Nadia Birkenstock, Cheryl Ann Fulton, Ray Pool, Marta Cook, Dee Sweeney, and dozens more.

 

She studied ergonomics with Laurie Riley and numerous physical therapists.
